What Is St. Louis Style Pizza?

St. Louis-style pizza is a distinct type of pizza popularized by the mid-western city of the same name and its surrounding areas. The definitive characteristics are a very thin crust and the common (but not universal) use of blended cheeses. It’s so creamy, it will stick to your teeth!

This particular cheese blend was developed by a St. Louis Grocer in 1950 and is made in Wisconsin primarily for the St. Louis market and is not widely available outside the St. Louis area. Margauxʼs Wine, Pizza & Market is proud to be one of the first restaurants on the East Coast to present you with this unique blend.
